Annual Art & Design Contest
Welcome to the 2026 Annual Art & Design contest! Winning designs in both the Junior and Senior Divisions will be printed on official Alaska Farm Bureau Annual Conference merchandise. The contest is open to all Alaska Farm Bureau FFB members ages 8–17. The theme for this year’s Art & Design Contest and the 2026 Alaska Agriculture Conference is “Keep Alaska Growing”. You may only upload one piece of original artwork. The deadline is August 1, 2026, by 2 p.m. Alaska Standard Time.
Annual Art & Design Contest – Official Rules
Theme: Keep Alaska Growing
(In alignment with the 2026 Alaska Agriculture Conference)
What We Consider When Selecting Winners
We look for impact, creativity, and originality. Submissions should be visually compelling, thoughtfully composed, and clearly communicate the theme.
All artwork must be the original work of the entrant and created within the 2026 calendar year. Accepted mediums include drawing, painting, watercolor, digital art, and mixed media.
AI-generated artwork is not permitted and will result in immediate disqualification.
Entries must not violate copyright or infringe on the rights of others.
How to Enter
Digital Submission Only:
All entries must be submitted digitally (photo of physical artwork or digital file)
No mailed entries will be accepted
Only one entry per person will be considered
Entries that do not follow submission guidelines may be disqualified at the discretion of Alaska Farm Bureau judges
By entering, participants grant Alaska Farm Bureau a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use submitted designs, in whole or in part, across media including merchandise, website, social media, and promotional materials. Artist credit will be given when possible.
Entry Deadline
All entries must be received by August 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Alaska Standard Time.
Judging
Judging will be conducted by select members of the Alaska Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
Entries will be evaluated within two divisions:
Junior Division: Ages 8–13
Senior Division: Ages 14–17
Winning and selected designs will be showcased at the 2026 Alaska Agriculture Conference. Judges’ decisions are final.

Recognition on stage at the Annual Conference banquet
Featured on the Alaska Farm Bureau website, social media, and newsletter

All participants:
Receive a certificate of participation
Winner Notification
Winners will be notified and announced in September 2026 and featured on the Alaska Farm Bureau website.
If a winner cannot be reached within 30 days or fails to provide a high-resolution version of their design, an alternate winner may be selected.
Alaska Farm Bureau reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest at any time. All decisions are final.
Official Rules
ELIGIBILITY. Open to all Alaska Farm Bureau FFB members ages 8–17. Employees, board members, and their immediate family members or household members are not eligible. By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Alaska Farm Bureau. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD. The contest begins May 15, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. (AKST) and ends August 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (AKST).
ENTRY. There is no cost or purchase required to enter The Contest, which must be entered via the Internet at www.alaskafb.org, accessible directly and via other sites. Only one entry per participant. If a person submits more than one entry, only the first will be considered.
PRIZES. Winning designs in both the Junior and Senior Divisions will be printed on official Alaska Farm Bureau Annual Conference merchandise which will consist of t-shirts and/or stickers.Winners will receive recognition on stage at the Annual Conference banquet and will be featured on the Alaska Farm Bureau website, social media, and newsletter. The Runner-Ups will be featured in the FFB newsletter and on Alaska Farm Bureau’s social media. All participants will receive a certificate of participation via email and/or by mail.
